I know the good people of Northeast Georgia. I’m blessed to be one. We live in a beautiful place with abundant resources that attract tourists from all over. But we have real problems — poverty, drug addiction, and other rural issues. We deserve better than a representative who only supports legislation that helps guns become more lethal and hurts women, children and minority populations.
I started to explore what it might be like challenge our US Representative and raised 75% of the needed funds to get on the ballot within a few days. However, due to respect for my family’s feelings, I will not be able to pursue a run for political office.
